Did you recently start playing WoW and searching for more information about professions? Feel free to check our informational blog here below, this time, we will tell you something about Mining skill and how to level it. Please keep in mind that this guide is meant for WoW Classic players
Mining is a gathering profession in World of Warcraft that allows players to mine ore and other materials from veins found in the game's various zones. To level up your mining skill, follow these steps:
- Learn the profession: Speak to a mining trainer in one of the major cities in the game to learn the profession.
- Find mining nodes: Look for mining nodes in the game's various zones. These nodes can be found in a variety of locations, such as mountains, caves, and hills. You can also use a "mining pick" or other tools to find veins.
- Mine the nodes: Once you find a mining node, use your mining pick to mine the ore or other materials from it. This will give you experience and materials.
- Repeat: Keep mining nodes and gathering materials until you reach the maximum skill level of 300.
- Specialization: Once you reach skill level 300, you can specialize in either mining for Thorium, or mining for Dark Iron, and continue to increase your skill level with recipes specific to that specialization.
- Repeatable quests: Many mining quests are available to players that will give them recipes and materials, so completing them will help to level up faster.
- Keep in mind that leveling up your mining skill will also require a lot of time and gold. Be prepared to invest both if you want to become a master miner.
- Try to focus on mining in zones that are appropriate for your skill level, as lower-level zones will give you less experience and materials than higher-level zones.
- Also, don't forget that some ores need to be smelted in a furnace to be useful, so it's a good idea to level up your blacksmithing skill as well so you can smelt the ores yourself.
