Rune system in WoW: SoD

The rune system is a signature feature in the upcoming World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery, but what is it?

Each class in WOW: SOD will have 3 rune slots: Chest, Hands, and Legs. Most likely with future patches developers will increase the amount of the rune slots
This Runes will provide to ANY class new abilities. Some of them will come from The Burning Crusade, or Wrath of the Lich king, and from the more "retail-like" expansions.

To be honest, it's a good new for WoW Classic because everyone wanted to try new class or even spec. And sadly, but original World of Warcraft Classic do not let you to play on such classes like Retribution Paladin or Elemental Shaman and be a decent player in your guild.

So, yes. Finally meme specs becomes a viable specs but it is not all!

Blizzard has added definitely new abilities for some classes. For example mages can become a healers, or rogues can be a decent tank! Everyday we receive a new updates about upcoming abilities, so most likely on release we will see amazing set of runes for our sure!

Upcoming 10-people raid dungeon - Blackfathom Deeps

Developers announced the brand new 10 people raid for World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery - Blackfathom Deeps.
It will be a new raid in the Ashenvale. There will be reworked old bosses but blizzard promised to players add new boss. More interesting items and it's just a first raid.

Once devs will increase a level cup - there will be a more new raid dungeons and open world activities.

Brand new WORLD-PVP Event

Blizzard already announced the new PVP event that we never saw in World of Warcraft Classic.

As veterans of World of Warcraft can remember Blizzard already tried with World PVP events in the past: Towers in Eastern Plaguelands and resources in Silithus. It was unfinished content that they released but the new WPVP event in Ashenvale most likely will be a way better.

Why is this conclusion drawn?

Blizzard already has a good experience with classic and every day they provide a new updates about this new PVP activity

We will see the endless war in the Ashenvale for Altars of Elune that will provide significant buffs in battle.

This "battleground" will have a leaders such as Alterac Valley: Horde Farseer, and Alliance Priestess of the Moon. Also, since the phase 1 of WoW: SoD will be limited by level 25 - developers provide to player opportunity to get a mounts special for this Open World PVP location!

In additional, Blizzard decide to rework Warsong Gulch reputation rewards and players able to get WSG reputation in the Ashenvale battles and obtain a brand new gear.

So everyone, will be motivated to obtain a new decent gear and run the brand new raid - BFD.
