How to 1-200 Mining in New World

At the start, I will recommend to you obtain the best mining tools which you can equip. Usually, it is not too expensive on Trading House.

Here I will provide a list of gathering tools and their level requirement:
If you are buying it on Trading House - try to obtain the best rolls for a fair price.

Tier 1 tools you can do with Flint and Green wood.
Tier 2: Iron Mining Pickaxe (from 4lvl to 19lvl) - Gathering speed 125%-225% (depends on crafter engineering level)
Tier 3: Steel Mining Pickaxe (from 16lvl to 39lvl) - Gathering speed 240-350% (depends on crafter engineering level)
Tier 4: Starmetal Mining Pickaxe (from 33lvl to 59lvl) - Gathering speed 370-550% (depends on crafter engineering level)
Tier 5: Orichalcum Mining Pickaxe (from 51lvl to 60lvl) - Gathering speed 560-850% (depends on crafter engineering level)

In New World no specific locations for mining nodes like in World of Warcraft, usually it's just in mountain zones. But I will try to recommend the best solutions.

1-50 Mining level: For leveling from level 1 to level 50 you must gather Stone and Iron Ore. The best way in my opinion is to go to northwest First Light or southeast Monarch Bluff. In my experience, these zones are best for gathering iron, but if you are playing on an overcrowded server or in primetime it will be difficult. So do not struggle in these zones - just go to any firsts zones in the mountain locations

50-100 Mining level: For leveling from level 50 to 100 you must gather Iron Ore and Silver, and elemental nodes but at level 50 it will be too long. Here is the same rule for Iron Ore, First Light, or Monarch Bluff. But now you have a new option - you should just going to the northwest Everfall. There you will find some Silver ore and Iron ore. In my opinion, it is the best solution. But if you have a problem with an overcrowded zone you can just farm Iron Ores and it will be almost a similar speed.

100-150 Mining level: For leveling from level 100 to 150 you must gather Elemental Nodes, Iron Ore and Silver Ore, and Starmetal Ore but for leveling it is not an optimal solution because it will be very long. But if you need some coins or you want to become a crafter it is good. At least at this moment when people just starting to play - you will not get a big competition for these nodes

150-200 Mining level: For leveling from level 150 to 200 you must gather Orichalcum Ore and Starmetal Ore and you should obtain the best tools which you can because 100-150 was the halfway. Starmetal you will find in Brightwood, Weavers Fen, and a few in Cutlass Keys. Orichalcum Ore will be a problem if your character is not 50+ level, you will find these nodes in high-level locations: Ebonscale Reach, Great Cleave, and Shattered Mountain. You can obtain some orichalcum ore in low-level locations but it is very few.
